Experience Lombok:
The Hidden Gem of Indonesia
May 10th - 17th, 2026
12 Spots, Women only
For Women Who Want More Than Just a Vacation.
Join a group of women on an unforgettable 8-day trip through Lombok and the Gili islands, where sustainability, sisterhood, and slow travel come together. You’ll explore gorgeous beaches, lush jungle waterfalls, snorkel in crystal-clear waters, and meet inspiring women leading conservation efforts.
From creating your own bamboo paper postcards, to joining former shark fishermen on their boats, every experience connects you to the heart of Lombok’s culture. You’ll leave with unforgettable memories, friends for life, and a deeper connection to this wonderful island in Indonesia.

Day 1: Welcome to Lombok
The moment you arrive in Lombok, everything slows down. You’ll check-in to our peaceful boutique hotel where we’ll meet for a relaxed welcome lunch to connect with the incredible women joining this trip. What makes this hotel special is their furniture from recycled wood, a no-plastic policy for water bottles, cutlery & toiletries and their monthly markets with craftspeople from the local community to showcase and sell their products to the guests.
Our afternoon will be spent at one of the island’s most beautiful beaches. Whether you swim, nap, or read a book, this time is about slowing down. The first day ends with dinner at a restaurant that sources their vegetables and fruits locally. Imagine amazing food, a beautiful cozy garden and plenty of good vibes as we get to know each other. It’s the perfect way to start our Lombok trip and set the tone for the amazing week ahead.
Meals included: Lunch, Dinner
Location: Kuta

Day 2: Local Women, Local Wisdom
This morning, you’ll meet Tia and her team. It’s a group of local women who started this project to empower women in the south of Lombok. They’ll take us on a guided tour to a traditional market. As we wander past colorful produce and fragrant herbs, you’ll see daily life through their eyes.
Next, we visit a peaceful garden studio where Mael, a bookbinder and paper artist who has revived the ancient art of sustainable paper-making using only fast-growing bamboo and native plants instead of trees. We'll craft our own bamboo postcards, reconnecting with your hands, and the beauty of creating something from nature. Afterwards you’ll have time to browse a shop with up-cycled treasures and enjoy lunch at their cozy cafe.
The afternoon is a chance to soak it all in with time to rest and swim at Tanjung Aan, one of Lombok’s most stunning beaches. We’ll end the day at a stunning viewpoint overlooking Kuta Bay and dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in Kuta, which sources their ingredients from organic farms around the island.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Location: Kuta

Day 3: Ocean Stories & Local Village
We’ll start the day early with a one-of-a-kind adventure alongside former shark fishermen. They’ll take us out on their boats to explore some beautiful snorkeling spots around the southeast of Lombok. While we enjoy the stunning underwater views, they’ll share personal stories about their time as shark fishermen and how much their life has transformed since working in tourism and focusing on preserving the ocean instead of going out to fish sharks. Lunch will be freshly prepared on the boat. This will be a day you won’t forget anytime soon!
After returning to Kuta, you’ll have time to rest before we’re welcomed into a local village for dinner. A quiet, meaningful night of connection, culture, and community.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Location: Kuta

Day 4: Village Life, Weaving & Island Magic
This morning, we’ll visit Lulu in her home village who’s the founder of ninē-ninē, a women’s weaving collective rooted in tradition, sustainability, and empowering local women. We’ll explore the village’s weaving traditions. A skill which has been passed down through generations of women. And the best part, we get the chance to try it ourselves.
After lunch, we travel to Gili Air, a peaceful, car-free island. Just bicycles, turquoise water, and island vibes. Once we arrive, we’ll check into our beachside locally owned boutique hotel and take the afternoon to settle in and soak up the peace.
That evening, we’ll come together for a cozy island dinner. Barefoot, present, and in a group of women who already feel like life-long friends.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Location: Kuta

Day 5: Ocean Sisters & Coral Guardians
Today might be my favorite day of the entire trip.
In the morning, we’ll meet Lombok’s Ocean guardian Cenna, a graduate of Coral Catch, Indonesia’s first coral restoration program for local women. Today, she’s mentoring the next generation of female ocean guardians. Cenna will take us on an unforgettable snorkel adventure through coral sites Coral Catch are actively restoring, gliding past underwater nurseries, schools of fish, and, if we’re lucky, sea turtles.
After experiencing the coral reefs firsthand, we’ll return in the afternoon for a workshop with Cenna to learn how she and her team are restoring these fragile underwater ecosystems. To close the day, we’ll roll up our sleeves for a beach clean-up with the team and as the sun sets, we’ll gather for dinner at a cozy island café and take time to reflect on everything we’ve seen, felt, and shared that day.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Location: Gili Air

Day 6: Waterfalls & Organic Cooking Class
Today is all about reconnection with nature & food.
We begin early with a short boat ride back to Lombok’s mainland, where a driver will take us north through lush green landscapes to Senaru, a village at the foot of Mount Rinjani. Our morning is all about reconnecting with nature which is a core part of living sustainably. We’ll walk through peaceful jungle paths to visit two of Lombok’s most stunning waterfalls.
After the hike, we’ll stop at a hillside lodge for a swim and lunch with panoramic views over the jungle. In the afternoon, we’ll visit a small organic permaculture farm. It is a circular system where everything plays a role in growing organic fruit and vegetables. Even the ducks and the cows.
Two local women will guide us through a traditional Sasak cooking class, using fresh ingredients picked straight from the organic garden. You’ll learn how to prepare flavorful, plant-based dishes while connecting with local food culture, one recipe at a time. We will return to Gili Air by sunset feeling grounded, nourished, and fully satisfied.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Location: Gili Air/Senaru
Day 7: Conservation, Recycling & Final Sunset
Today we dive deep into the realities of mass tourism and what it takes to protect paradise.
We’ll hop over to Gili Trawangan to meet the team at Gili Eco Trust, a nonprofit fighting the massive trash amounts that are being produced every single day. You’ll get the chance to walk through a 25 year old landfill and tour the recycling facilities.
It’s eye-opening. Confronting. And the reality of mass tourism. We’ll also learn about turtle conservation on the island, the challenges they face, the misconceptions around hatcheries, and the efforts being made to protect these beautiful animals.
The afternoon is all yours to explore, swim, or just chill on the beach with a coconut in hand, soaking in your final hours on this magical island. As the sun begins to set, we’ll come together for an epic farewell dinner on the beach. It’s a night of celebration, reflection, and sisterhood. We’ll laugh over our favorite moments, share stories that moved us, and take time to honor all the incredible women and projects we’ve connected with throughout the week. And if the sky is clear, we might be lucky to see Mt. Agung, the huge volcano on Bali. The perfect ending for this amazing trip.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Location: Gili Air/Gili Trawangan

Day 8: Time To Say Goodbye
We’ll enjoy one last breakfast together at the hotel, soaking in the last moments of island life. Then, it’s time to check out and say our goodbyes. You’ll leave with incredible memories, lifelong friendships, and a deeper connection to our beautiful planet.

About Lombok
Best Time Of The Year To Visit
May is the perfect time to explore Lombok. It marks the beginning of the dry season, bringing lower humidity and more comfortable temperatures. It’s my favourite month of the year because of the cooler mornings and evenings. The south of Lombok will also be much greener in May compared to later in the season, making it an ideal time to enjoy the island’s stunning natural beauty.
Weather
Lombok has a tropical climate with warm temperatures year-round. The dry season (May-October) is sunny and pleasant, while the wet season (November-April) brings occasional rain but keeps the island lush and vibrant. The biggest difference is the high humidity during monsoon season. May is particularly special, as it offers the best of both worlds: sunny days, cooler evenings, and a beautifully green landscape.
Do you ever feel like your travels could mean more than just ticking off bucket list destinations?
What if your next trip didn’t just take you somewhere beautiful but connected you with inspiring locals, immersed you in culture, and introduced you to 11 other women who care just as much as you do?
I created this trip for women who are craving more than sightseeing and Instagram pics.
This 8-day trip is rooted in sustainability.
You’ll meet locals working on the frontlines of conservation, visit women-led businesses creating real change in their communities, and experience what intentional, values-aligned travel actually looks like.
You’ll snorkel coral reefs with the women of Coral Catch.
Cook traditional plant-based meals at a regenerative farm. Join a weaving workshop in a village led by local women. And share sunset dinners with a small group of women who just get you.
This isn’t your average group trip to Indonesia.
It’s a soul-led experience, curated from the heart and grounded in sustainability, ethics, and connection.
Your Trip Supports:
Women-led businesses
Reef and wildlife conservation
Community-driven & respectful experiences
On this trip:
You don’t have to compromise your values to have a beautiful adventure.
You’re surrounded by women who just get it. No more explanations!
You feel safe to be yourself.
You reconnect with the earth, with others, and with the parts of yourself that often get lost in the noise of everyday life.
When women travel together something powerful happens. Walls come down. Conversations go deeper. Beautiful friendships evolve.
So, if you’re craving that kind of experience, this is your invitation. All you need is to pack your bag, jump on a flight and join me in Lombok next year.
Sustainability Meets Sisterhood

Hi, I am Eva!
I’ve been lucky enough calling Southeast Asia home for almost three years now.
But life didn’t always look like this.
A few years ago, I was deep into a career in finance. A completely different world far away from my passion that truly lights me up. I was craving something real. Something slower. Something that made me feel again. Leaving Germany to travel full-time and build my own business has been an incredible journey.
I grew up in an eco-conscious household, and for the past 10 years, I’ve been vegan which was the best choice of my life. Environmentalism, animal rights, and travel have always been my biggest passions.
My love story with Indonesia began back in 2017 on a 3-months solo backpacking trip all around the country. After returning in 2024 and spending several months on beautiful Lombok I realised:
I don’t just want to travel differently!
I want to create travel experiences for others rooted in sustainability, ethical travel, and meaningful connections.
My trip to Lombok is bringing that vision to life.
And I’d love for you to be part of it.

Here's what previous participants say about my trips.
”My favourite thing about the trip was meeting all of you women, which ironically was the biggest thing I feared. Would I get along with all of you? And we got along so well. And I really enjoyed spending time with you. I feel like we've made lifelong friends.”
- Tara
”Taking part in the trip was absolutely one of the best things I've ever done in my life. That's not an understatement.”
For me to be able to combine my love of travelling and discovering more parts of the world with my love for droning and photography, to be able to combine that alongside working with like-minded women who become friends, that's incredibly unique and it's really special.
- Claire
