Why Eva & The Planet Is Different

Why Eva & The Planet Is Different

Eva & The Planet isn’t about rushing through a destination and the next best Instagram hotspot.

Locally Owned & Ethical Travel

Locally Owned & Ethical Travel

I work with locally owned businesses, support local communities, respect cultural traditions, and make business decisions that honor the people and the country, not extract from them. I also honor nature, animals, and human beings, creating travel experiences that are intentional, ethical, and meaningful.

Slow & Intentional Experiences

Slow & Intentional Experiences

You’ll eat what locals eat and go on activities not everyone else is doing. No rushed itineraries, overpacked schedules, or box-ticking. I prioritize depth over speed, creating meaningful experiences and genuine connections with the places you visit.

Women-Only Spaces & Regional Expertise

Women-Only Spaces & Regional Expertise

Built on 12+ years of traveling and 4 years of living across South & Southeast Asia. I keep groups small (max. 12 women) to create grounded, safe, and supportive environment. My trips are spaces for building beautiful long-lasting friendships and belonging.

My work is not here for everyone. And that's intentional.

It’s for you if…

You're craving travel that feels nourishing, not exhausting.

You value ethics, sustainability, nature, and community.

You want to feel deeply connected to nature, your body, and the women around you.

You want to go beyond surface-level travel and actually slow down and feel present.

You want to be surrounded by women who value depth and real connection.

You're drawn to small groups, meaningful conversations, and shared presence.

This is not for you if…

You prefer fast-paced itineraries or ticking destinations off a list.

You're looking for luxury or Instagram-aesthetics experiences.

You want to lay by the pool, drink cocktails and eat western food.

You're seeking for big group tours with no personal connection.

You'd rather stay in your comfort zone than grow through travel.

What I do?

I created two distinct experiences for women who want to travel more consciously, slow down, and experience Sri Lanka in deeper, more intentional way.
Women-only ethical travel experiences
Women-only ethical adventure travel

Small, intentionally designed group trips in Sri Lanka that prioritise ethical partnerships, slow travel, and deep connection with local people, culture, and nature.
These are not fast-paced highlight trips.
They are immersive, experiences that go far beyond surface-level tourism.
This is for you if you want to travel with care and not just consume a destination.

Immersive women-only yoga retreats

An immersive retreat in Sri Lanka for women who are done feeling like they are always “on”, never able to rest properly, and are so ready to release this built-up tension, reconnect with their bodies, and experience real Sri Lankan culture.

This is not a standardized yoga retreat. It combines traditional yoga, Ayurveda, and local culture led by Sri Lankan teachers.

The world rewards speed, productivity, and performance.

Even travel has turned into consumption. Checklists. Instagram Content. Constant movement. But more isn’t sustainable.
And being constantly busy isn’t living in alignment.

I stand for a different way of moving through the world, one that’s rooted in intention, ethical practices, and true belonging.

I was lucky to be the photographer/videographer on this trip and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Everything about this trip was curated with so much intention, passion, and love. Love for the Sri Lankan culture, love for sisterhood, love for the planet.”

"From the moment the trip started, everything just felt easy. Eva had thought of every detail, and it was clear how much time and care she had put into planning the experience. It’s honestly hard to believe this was Eva’s first group tour because everything was organized so smoothly. You could tell that every stop and every activity had been chosen with care.”

"The trip was very well organized from start to finish. Local people were involved in every activity, introducing us to their country with great enthusiasm. We got to tour a weaving workshop, stroll through coconut hills, visit a market, go kayaking in a beautiful lagoon, watch a local farmer at work, ride the famous train from Ella, pick and process our own tea, and spend three days in the jungle, where we planted a tree. Eva made every day in Sri Lanka an unforgettable experience. This trip was one of the highlights of my life—I’ll never forget it."

Meet Eva

Eva & The Planet was born from my decision to leave behind a life that looked perfect on paper and build one that finally felt 100% like me.

For over a decade, I built a successful corporate career in finance in Germany until I finally said yes to a slower, more intentional life, deeply connected to nature and community.

I travelled throughout Southeast Asia for more than 12 years and relocated here permanently in 2022. During this time I witnessed how travel has changed from curiosity and connection to performance and Instagram-driven consumption.

That shift really shaped my work drastically.

Through curated small group trips and retreats, I help women travel with depth and meaning instead of consumption oriented.

Eva & The Planet exists for women who are ready to move differently through the world.
