RETURN TO SELF
A full body reset rooted in Sri Lanka
Step out of your stressful daily life and reconnect to your body through traditional yoga and Ayurveda led by local teachers, so you can finally slow down, release built-up tension and feel lighter, calmer, and more like yourself again.
November 22 - 29, 2026
7 Days · 12 spots · Women Only
You don’t need another surf and yoga retreat in Sri Lanka.
You’ve seen them all online. Smoothie bowls, matcha latte, and the matching yoga outfits for the perfect Instagram shots. But all of this just feels too curated. No real soul and no depth.
You want something that actually changes how you feel.
Because if you’re completely honest with yourself… you’ve been so stressed lately.
When you try to relax, your body feels tense and is always “on”.
At this point, you don’t even remember what it feels like to be completely at ease.
You just want to breathe deeply again.
Slow down.
And actually truly reconnect with your body.
That’s exactly why this retreat exists.

This isn’t just a nice getaway to Sri Lanka, it’s a return to yourself!
Led by incredible local teachers and practitioners who grew up here and are deeply connected to their country and the roots of yoga.
On this retreat is where things will actually start to shift in your body.
Something begins to soften because you finally give your body the space to let go of what it’s been holding onto for way too long.
You might feel emotions come up. Tension releasing, and a sense of lightness you haven’t felt in so long.
You’ll spend time in the most beautiful nature, that will calm you in ways you didn’t know existed.
And you’ll start to understand your body in a completely different way through a deep dive into Ayurveda for women’s health with a female local doctor who has been practicing for years.
But the best part?
You’ll be surrounded by women who feel real and who love depth just as much as you do which is why conversations flow so easily. You’ll laugh until your bellies hurt and friendships will form that will last a lifetime.
What a typical day looks like
This retreat is a deep dive into traditional yoga practices, meditation, Ayurveda, local culture, and nervous system regulation led by two amazing local teachers.
7:30 - 8:45 Hatha or Kundalini Yoga
9:15-10:30 Breakfast
10:30 - 13:30 free time
13:30-15:30 Workshop time
16:15-17:30 Yin Yoga
17:45-18:30 Sunset at beach
19-20 Dinner

On top of the daily yoga practice there will be three workshops including Ayurveda for women’s health, a deep dive into the fascinating fascia and an open discussion about cultural appropriation in yoga.
The retreat will open and close with a beautiful ceremony and we have something special planned for you during the full moon.
You’ll join a traditional cooking class run by a non profit supporting local women in Sri Lanka.
And we will be out for one excursion day to explore more of Sri Lanka’s incredible south. You’ll kayak through still lagoons at sunset that feel like a safari on water and visit a temple overlooking the most beautiful landscapes.

Why Sri Lanka’s south coast feels different than anywhere else
There’s something about this place which is hard to put into words, you have to feel it yourself.
You wake up and hear the ocean in the background. Palm trees everywhere. The air is warm, the light is so soft, and there’s no rush to be anywhere.
It is slow living at its core.

But at the same time, there’s this raw, unfiltered energy.
Tuktuks, scooters, bicycles, people walking, cows crossing the street. For some reason it’s the kind of chaos that doesn’t stress you out. It makes you feel alive.
You walk down to the beach and the water is clear, calm, and you might spot a turtle or two.
In the background, the surfers.
All of this is part of everyday life here which makes it so perfect.
Who is this retreat for?
It’s for you if you want to:
feel deeply connected to nature, your body, and the women around you
support local teachers and experience yoga in its roots
dive deep into Hatha, Kundalini and Yin Yoga
go beyond surface-level wellness and actually slow down
be surrounded by women who value depth and real connection
come home feeling grounded, balanced and genuinely inspired
This is not the right fit if you:
are looking for an influencer-style retreat where aesthetics come first

Meet Eva
Hi, I am Eva and I’ve called Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam home over the past three years living nomadically but moved to Sri Lanka permanently in September 2025.
It is the one place that completely took my breath away. The landscapes are unbelievably diverse, the wildlife is phenomenal, and the overall energy of this place is like nothing I’ve ever experienced and made me fall deeply in love with this country.
I have a background in Ashtanga/Vinyasa Yoga and did my Teacher Training in Thailand. I created this retreat because I didn’t want to offer another version of what already exists in Sri Lanka.
I’ll be your social host throughout the week and you’ll be guided by two incredible Sri Lankan teachers, Omaya and Natasha.

Meet Natasha
Hi, I am Natasha, a Sri Lankan born and raised practitioner with multi-cultural upbringing, forever inspired by the healing spirit of this island and the warmth of its people. I am committed to create and hold a space of healing, easefulness and inner joy for all those who roll out the mat in front of me.
My learnings are influenced by the Kundalini Yoga lineage, Vipassana tradition of the Buddhist philosophy, teachings of Vedanta from the Bhagavat Gita, Yin Yoga in Traditional Chinese Medicine Lineage, and my systematic studies and intuitive learnings of Reiki and other Energy healing modalities.
My work has beenshaped by my own personal journey of navigating through and overcoming the trials of the past decade, where my offerings became my own lifeline. I feel absolutely privileged to support others navigating through their own journeys and to witness their transformations.
Meet Omaya
Hi, I am Omaya and this practice of yoga entered my life through my mother, who’s been teaching me before I was even ready.
Eventually, I did my first training in Rishikesh, India with my first Guruji, Dr Omanand. A few months later I completed my 200 hours in Unawatuna, Sri Lanka with my teacher Jessyca Eve. I started teaching Hatha, Vinyasa and Yin in 2020.
6 years later, my teaching style is influenced by many different teachers, lineages and styles. I believe our bodies have the wisdom within and it’s all a journey to connect back with it.
Where you will stay
You’ll be staying in a beautiful, modern retreat house tucked away in the quiet backstreets of Madiha, just a 5 minute walk from the beach. Madiha is a cute and calm surf town in the south of Sri Lanka right between the popular hubs of Ahangama and Hiriketiya.
The house is surrounded by lush tropical gardens with lots of beautiful coconut, banana, papaya, mango, curry, and citrus trees.
It is spacious and thoughtfully designed, with cozy, light-filled rooms, open living areas, a beautiful garden and pool to relax during your free time.
