You Don’t Need Another Trip. You Need to Feel Alive Again.

You’ve done the healing retreats. The self-discovery journeys. The perfect escapes that looked amazing on Instagram. But lately, all of this just feels too curated without any soul.

You’re craving something raw, something that wakes you up again. You miss the feeling of salt on your skin, your hair wild in the wind, laughter with soul sisters that make your belly hurt.

You want to travel with meaning and to have community with women who will instantly understand you. No more awkward small talk. You want to feel like you truly belong somewhere and come home with the feeling of “that trip changed my life forever”.

But that kind of travel is rare these days. It takes work. Researching, planning, wondering if your presence is helping or harming. And honestly, you’re tired of being the only one who cares about the impact you make when you travel.

Beneath it all you are longing for community. For deep connection. For something that makes you feel fully alive again.

That’s why this trip exists so you can reconnect with nature, meet the people who call Sri Lanka home, and bond deeply with the women you travel with.

Experience Sri Lanka in a way most travelers never will.

It’s an off-the-beaten-path adventure through Sri Lanka’s wild beauty, designed for women who care about deep connection to nature, to local communities, and to each other.

Over 11 incredible days, you’ll kayak at sunset through still lagoons that feel like meditation on water, observe elephants ethically roaming wild and free, and visit a family-run weaving collective that’s been empowering women for generations.

You’ll stay on an ethical working tea estate in the cool, misty highlands, sleep under the stars at a jungle eco-lodge, and cook traditional meals using ingredients straight from the organic farm.

Along the way, you’ll experience authentic local life by wandering through a colourful traditional market and learning about indigenous farming with Naveen on his family’s land.

This isn’t just another Sri Lanka trip.
It’s a love letter to the wild, a soulful adventure designed to make you feel fully alive again.

If your heart is already saying yes, join the waitlist now.

Why Sri Lanka Feels Like Nowhere Else on Earth

The nature here is so raw and beautiful it might bring tears to your eyes.

It’s where monkeys swing through the trees, peacocks cross the road like they own it, and elephants still roam free.

Sri Lanka might be the only country so small, yet so incredibly diverse that in one trip, you’ll experience it all.

From the hot and humid coastlines to the cool, misty hill country surrounded by endless tea plantations to jungles so alive, they will leave you speechless.

It’s wild, chaotic, warm-hearted and so colourful.

And once you’ve seen it all, you’ll never forget how it made you feel.

For Women Who Crave Depth and Meaning. Not Just Destinations.

Join a small group of women who feel most alive in nature for an unforgettable adventure through Sri Lanka’s most stunning and soul-stirring landscapes. But this isn’t the version you’ll find on Instagram or in a fancy travel guide.

You’ll explore this country with someone who has built deep relationships with the locals, who knows the hidden paths and untouched places, and who has spent years designing experiences that are rooted in real connection.

You’ll be invited into homes for meals cooked over open fire, visit a jungle eco-lodge few even know exists, and walk through tea plantations that are actually run sustainably. You’ll sit with artisans, farmers, and conservationists who will share their stories in a way that no big group tour ever could.

This trip gives you access to people and places you simply won’t find on your own.

No anonymous big-tour vibes. Just raw beauty, deep connection, and the kind of moments that stay with you for the rest of your life. Because when women travel together, something powerful happens. Conversations flow easily. Laughter comes naturally. And friendships form that will last a lifetime.

So, if you’ve been craving a trip that awakens something real inside you, this is it.

What this trip is actually about.

Wild & Alive is the only trip that offers real access to local families, community projects & untouched nature.

This is not a healing retreat, not a fast-paced big tour, and not something you could piece together on your own.

It’s a slow, intentional journey that blends:

  • ethical travel that supports local families and community projects

  • access to places and people you wouldn’t find without local relationships

  • nature-rooted adventure that grounds, energises, and awakens you

  • a women-only group where you instantly feel understood

  • zero planning because every detail is taken care of for you

It’s a meaningful, community-driven travel experience curated with heart and made possible through Eva’s personal connections across Sri Lanka.

Limited to 12 spots only

Hi, I am Eva!

I’ve called Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam home over the past three years but Sri Lanka is the one place that completely took my breath away. When I spent three months here in 2023, I instantly knew this island was different. The landscapes are unbelievably diverse, the wildlife is phenomenal, and the overall energy of this place made me fall deeply in love.

It had such an impact on me that after years of nomad life, I decided to create a home base here and I couldn’t be happier.

Over time, I’ve built close relationships with the local guides, families, and small community projects we visit on this trip. People like Naveen, who introduced me to indigenous farming on his family’s land, or Siri, who takes us through the bustling local market both welcomed me with so much warmth.

These beautiful connections are the reason why I design trips the way I do: slow, intentional, and community-driven.

My passion for ethical travel, sustainability, and meaningful experiences comes from how I live. Close to nature, conscious, and far away from the rush I still remember from my life back in Germany.

I want women to experience travel in a way that feels good: for themselves, for the planet, and for the communities they meet along the way.

This group trip is my way of sharing the Sri Lanka I fell madly in love with. The hidden places, the genuine moments, and the magic that stays with you long after you leave.

I’d love to invite you to experience the Sri Lanka that changed my life.

Day 1: Welcome to Sri Lanka

The moment you arrive in Negombo everything slows down.

You’ll check-in to our beautiful beach hotel and the afternoon is yours to relax, unwind, and recover from your journey.

As the sun begins to set, we’ll gather for our first Sri Lankan sunset drinking coconuts, feet in the sand, watching the sky turn pink over the Indian Ocean.
We'll head to a local restaurant for our
welcome dinner, giving you a first taste of Sri Lanka’s rich flavours and the warm hospitality this country is known for.

Meals included: Dinner
Location: Negombo

Day 2: Traditional Weaving & The Journey South

After a delicious breakfast, we begin our drive toward Sri Lanka’s lush south coast.
On the way, we’ll stop at a
family-owned weaving factory that has been employing and empowering women for decades. Here, you’ll see how traditional techniques are used to produce sustainable fabrics and learn about the impact of fair, long-term employment on local families.

After a tour and a delicious home-cooked lunch, we continue our journey to Hiriketiya, a small beach town surrounded by the most beautiful beaches Sri Lanka has to offer. In the evening, we’ll stroll along Dickwella Beach, one of my favourite beaches in all of Sri Lanka, enjoy the sunset views with a coconut, and share a beautiful dinner at one of my favourite local restaurants in Hiriketiya.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch
Location: Negombo/Hiriketiya

Day 3: Traditional market, Secret Coconut Hill & Kayaking at sunset

This morning you'll meet Siri who will take us on a fun tour exploring a traditional local market. As we wander past colourful produce and spices, you get to experience everyday life.

The rest of the morning is yours to chill, read a book or soak up some sun.

After lunch, a short drive brings us to a real hidden gem that is not on Instagram yet and hopefully will never make it there. The secret Coconut Hill which overlooks one of the most pristine beaches in all of Sri Lanka. Pure nature without anyone else around.

Afterwards we’ll embark on a sunset kayak safari with Lakith. The lagoon is full with wildlife and you'll get to see monkeys jumping through the trees, lizards hanging out in the mangroves and lots of different birds.
It’s
meditation on water. It's a peaceful, grounding, and an unforgettable experience.

We will wrap up this amazing day with a special dinner with live-cooking. By now you and the others will already feel like life-long friends.

Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner
Location: Hiriketiya

Day 4: Indigenous gardening & Sunset Views

This morning, we’ll head to Ahangama to visit a small regenerative farm, run by Naveen, a passionate young Sri Lankan who will teach us all about indigenous farming. You’ll learn how they grow food in balance with nature, join a farm-to-table lunch, and taste dishes made straight from the garden.

After returning to Hiriketiya, the afternoon is yours to swim, rest, or wander the small surf town. The day ends with sunset at the blue beach and a dinner at a beautiful oceanfront restaurant watching the afterglow while enjoying some amazing food.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch
Location: Hiriketiya

Day 5: Elephants & Ethical Encounters

Today is all about the gentle giants of Sri Lanka.
We’ll travel to Udawalawe National Park for an
ethical safari experience observing elephants from a respectful distance as they roam freely in their natural habitat.
No exploitation. Just quiet awe and the
chance to witness these incredible animals up close.

After a beautiful day immersed in nature, we’ll rest overnight near the park surrounded by the sounds of the jungle and meet for a delicious dinner at our hotel.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Location: Udawalawe Nationalpark

Day 6: Into the Tea Country

This morning, we head into the highlands, mountains covered in endless green tea fields.
Our destination is a
sustainable tea estate, the only one in Sri Lanka that produces truly ethical tea: paying above-average salaries and sharing profits with its workers.

You’ll tour the estate, meet the people behind your daily cup, and taste a variety of fresh teas while learning about fair production.
We’ll end the day with
sunset at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the mountains, the perfect moment to slow down and take it all in.

Day 7 The Iconic Nine Arches Bridge

Rise early for one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic sights, the Nine Arches Bridge.

soak in the quiet and peacefulness. There will be an optional waterfall walk if you want more action.

Location: Outside of Ella

Day 8 Train Ride to the Jungle

Get ready for one of the world’s most beautiful train rides.
We’ll board the famous Ella–Kandy train, winding through tunnels, tea fields, and misty forests.

In Nuwara Eliya, we’ll stop for lunch before continuing our journey with our private minibus to our final destination, a true hidden gem: a sustainable eco jungle lodge nestled deep in nature.

Here, you’ll wake up to birdsong, breathe in the forest air, and end your days under the stars.

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Location: Outside of Kandy

Day 9 Yoga, Tree Planting & Cooking Class

Our jungle mornings begin with gentle yoga and the sound of the forest waking up.
After breakfast, we’ll join a
tree planting project that helps restore the forests.
Later, you’ll take part in a
cultural cooking class, learning traditional Sri Lankan recipes using all the organic ingredients from the lodge's own organic farm.

The afternoon is yours to relax whether it’s journaling, reading, or simply sitting outside listening to the sounds of the jungle.

The rest of the afternoon is yours to unwind.

In the evening we’ll come together for an epic farewell dinner. It’s a night of celebration, reflection, and sisterhood. We’ll laugh over our favourite moments, share stories that moved us, and take time to honor all the incredible women and projects we’ve connected with throughout the week.

Best Time to Visit

Sri Lanka can be visited year-round. May falls right into the shoulder season, a beautiful time when it’s much quieter on the island. The landscapes are lush and vibrant, beaches are quieter, and everything feels calmer and more authentic.

Weather

Sri Lanka’s tropical climate means hot and humid temperatures all year long along the coast and cooler temperatures in the central highlands. Expect golden sunshine, occasional tropical showers that pass as quickly as they come, and cool, misty mornings in the highlands.

Sri Lanka isn’t just a place you visit.
It’s a place that makes you feel alive again!
